The Old Stoics, once again, find themselves in Division Four of the Arthurian League – promotion is overrated! This season has been really promising in terms of bringing through young players. The early part of the season saw Oscar Pegg (Bruce 16), Kit Dixon-Smith (Chatham 13), Tom Young (Grafton 15), Totse Jemide (Bruce 18) and James Rose (Chandos 12) make their debuts whilst George Jackman (Cobham 14) has cemented his place in the team.
The season started well with wins against newly promoted Old Kings Scholars, Old Salopians and (finally) Old Harrovians but recent form has not been as strong and we find ourselves mid-table half way through the season. A record twenty-eight Old Stoics have played for the team this season but, as ever, we are always on the lookout for new players.
